Andrew!

Y'all, I promise promise promise to write a huge long post about this soon and tell you all about the experience. But I know I've been remiss in even just posting the big news--and it is Big News--so let me do that, for the record.

He's here! Andrew James Wyckoff made his inaugural appearance at 6:31 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 24. He weighed a crazy 9 pounds and 4 (and a quarter) ounces, and he was 20.5 inches long. He cried immediately to let us know he was all good, if perhaps a bit chilly.

He was born via c-section, so we stayed in the hospital a few days. All in all, it was a good experience. He's healthy and lovely, and I'm recovering without any complications.

Unlike his big brother, he is not a little bitty version of his daddy or his grandaddy. We're not sure yet who he resembles, but we think he's really, really cute nonetheless...
